After the Work
Our Warranty
Our work carries a 60 to 90 day warranty. The term depends on the job and is written into the scope before work starts. If something we did is not right inside that window, we come back and fix it.
The commitment
60 to 90 day warranty on our work
Which term applies depends on the job, and it is named in your written scope. It is not a sales line. It is the same commitment on every page of this site, and the same one the owner stands behind.
How It Works
- 1
The term is in your written scope
Before work starts you get a written scope and price. The warranty term for that project, 60 or 90 days, is named in it. Ask which one applies when the scope comes through if it is not clear.
- 2
The clock starts at the final walk-through
We walk the finished work with you, room by room, in daylight. Anything that is not right goes on a list and gets fixed. The warranty period runs from there, not from the day the first wall came down.
- 3
Call the same number
If something we did is not right inside the window, call (240) 695-4415 or send the form. The same company comes back. No separate warranty department, no third party.
- 4
We come during business hours
We are open every day, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and warranty visits are scheduled the way everything else is, by appointment. This is not a 24-hour emergency service. Outside those hours, send the form or leave a message and we respond when we open.
What it covers
- ✓Our work: the installation, the finish and the workmanship we were paid for
- ✓A door we hung that stops closing, a tile we set that comes loose, a joint we taped that cracks, a seam we caulked that opens
- ✓Anything on the final walk-through list that was not finished to the scope
What is separate from it
- ✓Products and fixtures carry their own maker’s warranty, which is separate from ours and is what you turn to if a faucet, an appliance or a window unit itself fails
- ✓Work we did not do. If another trade or an earlier contractor did it, the warranty does not reach it, and we say so plainly when we look
- ✓Damage from something that happened after we left, such as a new leak from a pipe we did not touch
How to make a claim
- ✓Call (240) 695-4415 or send the form, and say it is warranty work
- ✓Tell us what is wrong and send a photo if you can. It helps us bring the right material the first time
- ✓We book a visit by appointment, look at it, and fix what we did
Why the term is 60 to 90 days
- ✓Most workmanship problems show up early: in the first weeks, as the house is used, the seasons change and materials settle
- ✓A short, clear term we honor every time is worth more than a long one with a page of exceptions
- ✓The term is the owner’s stated commitment, and it is the same on every page of this site
The Rest of the Paperwork
The licence number, the bond and the insurance are on our credentials page. How a project runs before and during the work is on our standards. Questions first? See the warranty question in the FAQ.
